Japan is a beautiful country filled with generous, humble, loving people. I had the opportunity to travel here for 10 days as a part of a Global Citizenship Project through my university. I met so many local people, drank endless amounts of tea, ate more raw fish than I care to remember, and visited many beautiful temples. Over the next few weeks I am going to share my experiences to help anyone planning a trip to Japan. Some posts to look forward to include what to see in Kyoto & Tokyo, Miyajima Island, Hiroshima, Fuji, and much more. I also plan to feature many of the local Japanese people I met during my travels and will write about the unique traditions I learned about. Please enjoy this preview of images I took throughout my trip to get you in the mood for Japan!
